No Experience Necessary
Question by dj: what’s the range pay of CNA in Los Angeles California ?any one knows ?
Answer by maliboo_girl
From what I’ve heard, CNA pay range is generally from about $ 10 to $ 22 an hour, but a lot more jobs on the low end than the high end. I know at one of the top hospitals, experienced CNAs in peds make about $ 15 an hour, and supposedly this hospital pays on the high end. It seems some other cities that have lower cost of living have similar to LA salaries. Typically, employers want at least one year of experience (similar to the job you’re applying for), but some will allow college taken toward RN certification to count as experience. Senior living facilities sometimes have some CNAs that do less medical stuff (entertaining residents, escorting to appointments, paperwork, etc), so they might hire with little or no experience.
