Question by : What are the best non-paid job boards for Los Angeles jobs for marketing professionals, like…?
…marketing management jobs?
I am really looking for sites other than the typical Monster, CareerBuilder, and HotJob-type sites. I am really looking for the ones that are not so obvious and that list solid jobs from good employers who are actually looking to hire marketing professionals. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi.

I just recently ended up getting a new job, so I know the headache and frustration of trying to find work. My new job is in business, and I ended up getting it off of the Chicago version of craigslist. The LA one is here: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/jjj/

You’ll need to input relevant information that narrows the search, but I hope that helps.

I also managed to get a couple callbacks from the Chicago version of http://www.bizjournals.com/losangeles/jobs/advertising-marketing-pr.html and while http://marketing.jobs.net/California-LosAngeles.htm wasn’t so fruitful for my searching, it may be for yours.

Good luck in your hunt, and I hope this answer at least helps to answer your question.

    All the best,
    sm

It’s so much better to know someone in the business where you want to be.

I don’t think you’ll have much luck with Monster or Careerbuilder in marketing anyway.
