I’m a member of Casada’s district and consider myself a republican, and I still find him to be an embarrassment. I’ve been on the house floor and I can tell? you that even his fellow republicans consider him to be a wack job.

  2. overpalmer says:

Is that Tennessee Ernie Ford talking? Oooops,? it’s Glen Casada. I’m sorry that I’ve insulted TEF.

    Go? Sherry!

  4. Seraplane says:

Sometimes it is the government that is at fault. This? time, due to lack of regulation in the banking system, the housing market, Wall Street, etc., it is not the government’s fault.

  5. onceuponamidnightdry says:

What’s, “real funny”,? is the endless dead-end mind-set of the Leftist Progressives is that it is mindless government regulation and their inability to have any faith in the people of this country to take care of their own.
Can she answer why the economy is in the condition it is in? Oh, I forgot, it is Bush’s fault and the “tax breaks for the rich” that did it. Never is it government who is at fault.

  6. babydoll12912 says:

So many suffer from the delusion that unemployment and poverty aren’t their problem. It’s so easy to become poor in this economic climate. Almost 15% of Americans are living on less than $20 a? day right now. I’ve known some who abuse the government but that could never erase the reality of those I know actively searching for employement opportunities that aren’t there. Sad.

  7. MsDezzyzRayz says:

Our churches should be feeding the? kids not the government. I think there are food stamps for feeding your ten children when you have no job to feed even one.

  8. MsDezzyzRayz says:

a bit of the problem is that I have watched people work just long enough and then find a reason to get fired and then live on unemployment and then when it runs? out they seem to be able to find a job only long enough again to be able to collect unemployment. I am not at all saying that everyone is doing this but so many abused the system that it ended up hurting the people that really did want to work. In the old day’s people found work even if it meant cleaning toilets.

Fact,…..”when your out? of money, your out of money”……..Glen Casada, PATRIOT!

  10. shawbaby1111 says:

  11. DgurlSunshine says:

…like the government every realizes THEY have NEVER had money!!! the BORROWED from the FED! PIGS…I am unemployed for 8 months now in Nebraska….THIS IS MADDNESS! FREE THE CANNABIS? FROM PROHIBITION!

  12. Jdlifsey says:

Children still get? fed at school

  13. mattcabeify says:

It’s not the governments job to feed the? unemployed.

This is how socialism comes into being. I’m not crazy. What else would you call it when the government pays people for no work?

  17. kmillard says:

It’s just sooooo mean to oppose continual expansion if the welfare state you meany you…. The whole reason for there not being any jobs in the first place? is the expansion of the welfare state and because of the redistribution policies of marxists like Sherry Jones who keep expanding government in the name of “compassion.”

  18. AwisemanisStrong says:

The Fed just? gave BILLIONS TO SOME RICH PAGAN SCUM BANKERS BUT FORGET THE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOW SUFFERING FROM THE BANKERS MISTAKES – LET THEM STARVE TO DEATH

  19. dekinono says:

@davis80smusic, dont need religion or tribe to be a good samaritan. All you need? is to be human. Taking food from someone elses child to give to another by use of violence is nothing but pure evil. People should help people, via other venues than govt. Churches are good examples of this, now they dont do anything but amass wealth instead of helping the poor. And no there is no biblical injuctions against and neither is there for evil to help others. Govt. is nothing but evil look at its history.

  20. Bronnster says:

Just something about a man in? an expensive 3-piece suit asking to stop support for the poor and unfortunate citizens in his community because there isn’t enough money that feels so wrong.

  21. OutreAnima says:

Why not government sponsored business loans for small business, temporary (6 month) minimum wage welfare for? unemployed where there are no jobs, and incentives for businesses that hire full time employees and keep them for a full 6 months? The tax revenue from employed people will pay it in the end, and the money they have available to spend in the economy will recycle back to help the whole economy… is that so hard to see?

  22. SeanT228 says:

You have got to be the biggest fucking idiot on the planet. You know how I know welfarism is evil? Because its predicated on THEFT “Government helping its own people”? Where do you think the government gets its money? By infringing upon the rights of everyone who is not on the receiving end.Welfare, when done through democratic means is a form of enslaving one another. I was only pointing out that you cant even understand? your own bible; take an ethics class or something, collectivism is bad.

  23. davis80smusic says:

Again, the good Samaritan parable is about people helping someone not of their own religion or tribe, it is not a? lesson to preclude a government helping its own people – the parable does not ruling out both personal and governmental aid being a good thing – please post the biblical injunctions against governmental helping the least fortunate of their people – but really, that doesn’t sound like something Jesus would say, does it?

  24. davis80smusic says:

Where in the Bible does it specifically say that “welfarism” is *Evil*, because I just checked and I can’t find? that passage – maybe somewhere in there Jesus said that the government should not be involved in the health and welfare of the people it governs, but I’m not seeing it – please post the chapter and verse – thanks
