Question by GotSole23: What are the chances that someone in the medical field(Med Tech) will be laid off?
Well my friends mom might get laid off.. Well she is in the medical field and lives in the bay area. She works in one of the hospital in San Francisco, she draws blood I think. Probably a med tech? Well her boss said there will be jobs laid off so anyone know what are the chances of her getting laid off?

Depending on the hospital she works in the odds are different from hospital to hospital. Is she a med tech or does she do phlebotomy? If she is a med tech she can do more than someone that only does phlebotomy. If her hospital is union then it mostly goes last to get hired are the first to be let go. Depending on when she got hired depends where she is in the line. I hope hospital census goes back up.
