Question by zombie_togo: San Diego Teachers? Or anyone teaching in Southern California?
I’m curious to get some information about teaching in the San Diego area, or southern California in general.

Are jobs hard to come by? What about as art or English teachers at a high school level, or teaching at an elementary level? How long were you in school for to obtain certification for teaching?

In general, what you are thoughts and opinions on teaching?

i don’t think jobs are hard to come by… you want an english position?! my poor mother has been subbing for a new teacher that won’t be coming over now from another district since the first day of school. google cjuhsd and look for job opportunities…

also edjoin, google that, it’s education jobs for all of CA

i can’t wait to be a “real” teacher… subbing is fun, but there’s a ton of bull that i have to put up with every single day!
