The only worry about San Diego is the stream of illegal aliens that move through their on their way to infiltrate the rest of the country.

They’ll sleep in your back yard if you don’t get rid of them. The SCHTICK-SCHTICK of a cycling shotgun does wonders.

Yes it is nice. Less to do than LA and NY, but cleaner and smaller with nicer beaches. Personally, I get bored here, but it depends on what you are looking for.

  2. Olivia says:

Yes, Seaport Village, whale watching, cruise of the bay, Balboa Park is fantastic, the San Diego Zoo is fantastic, Old Town San Diego, Sea World, the beaches, perfect weather 12 months out of the year.

San Diego is a wonderful place to live. I’ve lived in all three cities, and yes, it’s not as sophisticated as L.A. or Manhattan, but it’s laidback, and the weather is nicer (even cooler than L.A.)

The challenge with San Diego is the cost of living. Gasoline is $ 4.40 a gallon and while there is mass transit, it depends where you live. Of course, if your mom finds a residence near her job that’s fine.

The illegal alien remark — I think William is playing with you. If you own a ranch or home in the East County, yes, it’s problematic. Illegals are known to trespass on their way north. But there presence here to most of us is more psychological than physical.

Of course, the best thing for your mom is to spend time on the internet, checking out our city or even paying a visit. Hope everything works out for her!

It’s one of the best!!!!!!!!! It has fun things to do, the beach, and perfect weather all year. P.S the idiot that wrote about immigrants in his back yard is wrong and I meant to give him a thumbs down and accidently gave him a thumbs up!!!!!!!

San Diego is amazingly beautiful. Better choice over LA. Great harbor, theme parks, museums, and other attractions. I love living here. No better place than SD County. 🙂

I lived in San Diego for the first 20 years of my life, and other than SeaWorld and the Wild Animal Park, there is not much to do. I live in LA now (for the past four years) and although San Diego is peaceful and a nice place to visit, it can be a bit boring.
