Question by sha200805: Im trying to become a CNA(CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT).i DON’T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY FOR THE TRAINING SO?
IM TRYING TA GET A WIA (WORK INVESTMENT ACT) GRANT. I live in chicago I wanted to know has any one ever received this type of grant and if so how long did it take to get approved for the grant?

Nurses are really awesome, so many of them sacrifice so much, just so that they can look after for other peeps. In the box below is a website I uncovered with plenty of things about nursing – and plenty of other jobs too.

    You should really look into going to a 1 year LPN program at a community college near you. I went to CNA school and paid $ 1200 cash just to make 9.00/hr. I said screw that and now I’m in a community college doing a one year program to become an LPN and it is only 3,000 and I didn’t have to pay a cent because of federal grants.
