Question by azvails: How do I get started in the world of computers?
What would be the very basic entry level job to start with? I have basic c++ knowledge. What would be the recommended language to know to get started in the computer technology job field. Or where do I start! (I am 40 years old and just started learning computer languages and would like to get started with the hands on approach) Any suggestions. Java, HTML, c++ Where do I start?

hello Sir,
computer field is so big and many option are there.
if u really like the programming field. than go with the higher level of P course.
but if like the creative one and need job in 1 -2 year u should think about ANIMATION Courses,
these are interesting, creative, and less time taking to learn u can got job just after 4-6 months.
plz search with the best option available in india.
also try MAAC.
i am also doing the same course from MAAC Gwalior,
just b,coz it’s Creative and i can use my full creativity here……..

  1. say word says:

The June 2010 issue of CPU magazine lists these as the top online jobs at the moment. If you are going to stick to the programming side then these should apply whether you work online at home or for a business.

    1. PHP
    2. HTML
    3. MySQL
    4. CSS
    5. WordPress
    6. JavaScript
    7. AJAX (trending up)
    8. Flash (trending down)
    9. Joomla!
    10. iPhone (trending up)

I would say that anything in those 10 areas would be a good place to start.

    Hope this helps!
