Question by : Does the Raleigh-Dunham area have a feasible job maket for patient care technicians and nursing assistant jobs?
I am thinking about moving to the Raleigh-Dunham area, and I wanted to know about patient technician jobs. Does this area have a good market for the patient care technician and nursing assistant jobs? Also, does anyone know about reasonable places to live?

Yes it does. The entire area has lots of medical offices, hospitals, and other locations that need people in that line of work. There are a large number of assisted living places as well that would need people in the nursing field. My suggestion to you is that you find out where you are going to work and then work on finding a place to live. I know for a fact that driving from the northern part of Raleigh to a location in Chapel Hill or the southern part Raleigh or Wake County can take 45 minutes…and even more with heavy traffic.
You can use Rent.com to find a place once you have a lead on the job. If the property that you sign a lease with is listed on that site, they will give you money back once the lease is confirmed.
I listed the area hospitals and a link to a Google search for Raleigh area nursing jobs.
