Question by Sable: Does anyone to to college in San Francisco? Can anyone provide me with a list of colleges in San Francisco?
Information about the colleges would be great. If you are attending a college in San Francisco, how do you like your school?

There aren’t many school in the city of San Francisco itself. I attend USF, The University of San Francisco, which is the best school in the city, but average compared to universities around the country. Here are a list of the school in the city.
University of San Francisco – A private jesuit university with loads of diversity! Great location, safe and fun. Cool people from all around the world! Only downside is the school is very small, around 5,000 undergrad, the facilities aren’t great, and the school is very expensive, around 50,000 a year with everything included! On the plus side, it is in the most amazing city ever! You will never ever ever be bored here! The classes are small so you get a lot of attention from the teachers. The school gives out a crap load of financial aid to students ( i come from a low middle-class family and only pay about 1,700 a semester!) The school also does a great job at career placement (getting graduates jobs). It is a great school, in an amazing city!
San Francisco State University – Not a prestigious school by any means. Normal tuition is cheaper than USF. Location is not great, south west section of San Fran, away from all the cool areas. I don’t know much about it, but it is definitely second rate to USF. I know a lot of kids who went their because they had bad grades out of high school and they transfered to USF after a few semesters.
Academy of the Arts – A great art institution with campuses all over the city. I have heard nothing about great things pertaining to this school. If you are into any kind of art and have the money, definitely look into this school!
Thats pretty much it. There are a few other graduates schools such as: Golden Gate University, University of California Hasting Law School, University of California San Francisco (graduate medical school). USF is a good school but gets overshadowed by other bay area schools such as UC Berkeley and Stanford. If you have the grades and don’t mind being about 45-90 minutes away from San Francisco i would look into those two schools.
