  3. Mickey Hoelscher says:

Caring is what going into the field of health care is all about. No one
goes here to become rich, but to help people with their lives.

Wow this is truly state of the art. Im currently studying nursing in Canada
and i don’t think we have half the things you have here in this video. We
probably have 2 of those mannequins for such a big faculty with so many
students. But school in the states is pretty pricey compared to Canada.

Thanks for the info, Ive been trying to figure out this whole nursing
    process

It is the McDonald’s of the medical field. CNAs after 6 months start
planning on moving on if they haven’t already. They become nurses,
medically assistants, dental assistants, hospital CNAs, and so on. Nursing
home CNAs are usually at the job less than two years, because the $12/hr or
less pay sucks for hard work. If you plan on going to school for six months
and getting a career, go into phlebotomy. Phlebotomist jobs are hard to
find in this economy, but they pay better ($15/hr).

too bad its in chicago ='(

I was a CNA. I quit being a CNA because I got my license to be a COTA.
Being a CNA is HARD WORK. The lifting, the turning, the messy work, the
ungrateful patients, the uncooperative, rude nurses, the unreasonable
caseloads, the VERY low pay…this job is a stepping stone for nursing. You
