Question by Cade: Moving to Seattle without a job? Is it ok if I’m a nurse?
Is this a good idea to do even though I am a nurse? I’m a LPN about to quit my job here hoping to quickly pick up one there soon. Do people still hire over the phone anymore? What is your advice for trying to get a medical job SOMEWHERE in Seattle?

I was looking for a job now but I won’t be moving until a few months from where obviously the job might not be there still. How do I deal with this? I’m not asking FOR a job, I’m asking for your advice on going about it this way. Thanks.

your best best would be to try one of the major hospitals

Harborview/Sweedish/Virgina Mason(all close to downtown)
UW Medical Center(University District)
Children’s Hospital(Laurelhurst) – little bit farther away from downtown

since your a registered nurse i dont think you should have much difficulty finding a job
