Question by Nicole – is in love.: Medical Assistant to a RN?
I plan on going to school to become a Medical Assistant then go become a RN. Is that a good a path? Or should I go for a LPN then to a RN?
Also, could you go higher with as a Medical Assistant? I am located in Miami, Florida.

Why not go straight for your RN? Or get your CNA, that is quick and relates much better than medical assisting. Practical nursing will translate, but it just seems like a waste of time if you really want to be an RN. Medical Assisting is kind of its own thing, and it doesn’t gt much higher without going for a different job.
