Question by jessicamofessica: Jobs that make more than minimum wage that require only short-term training/education?
I’m 18 and living in Seattle. I’d like to be able to get a better job than just being a cashier or something like that. I’m under 21 so I can’t be a bartender or waitress. I know its not that difficult to become a CNA (Certificate Nursing Assistant). What are some jobs that pay a little better than minimum wage that would only require a couple weeks of training?

None. A couple weeks of training? Be serious.

You answered your own question, become a CNA. If you can walk and rub your belly at the same time you can be a CNA. If you can drink a glass of water without spilling it you can be a CNA. If you can say “how much wood can a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood” 3 times in a row you can become a CNA. You don’t even need to graduate from high school to become a CNA. You could have a vegetable for a brain and still become a CNA. It doesn’t take a genius to clean up poop or hold on tight to a man’s penis during catheterization.

Take advantage of the fact that you are a woman, therefore you can do anything you want to a naked man and never get into any trouble for it. Being a CNA is the bomb!
