Question by Smash: I need a mentor for my senior project. I want to job shadow a RN working in a birthing center. Seattle?
I know that it is allowed. I am currently taking a class to get my CNA. My teacher works in a birthing center, but she can’t be my mentor because she is my teacher. She said she would make some calls, but she has been busy so I understand. I have tried to call the different centers, but the numbers are for tours or classes. Does anyone know who I should ask, and how I should ask. Are there emails or phone numbers? Do you know someone or are you someone willing to help me with my senior project? Thanks to everyone that actually tries to help! I’m looking for a Center in or around Lynnwood.

When you call a birthing center / station within the hospital, ask to speak with the nurse manager or if they have a nurse educator who handles student requests. Explain to them what you’re doing and they would be the ones to make arrangements for you.
