Question by Lexee!: How to apply for jobs in Seattle?
I’m moving from New York to Seattle in December and I’d like to have a position lined up before hand. I have BS and I’m Certified by the ABA as a Paralegal. How should I go about applying? Is it even possible to find a job that way?

Try Washington state employment web site. There are a ton of law offices in Seattle and King County. You can post your resume on line at the state web site and search for jobs on the site. Good luck.

It is absolutely possible to find a job that way!

    1. Here’s list of 30 free job sites and engines:

Check it out, there’s one engine run by the US Dep’t of Labor that lists jobs in every part of the USA. It’ll give you a good lead on knowing which employers are hiring.

    2. I wouldn’t rule out staffing agencies even though you are afar. Some seattle agencies worth looking into are (they are an int’l company but have a local presence) and (they have a listing for a bankruptcy paralegal).

    3. Check out the NSCS Career Advice Forum:
The forum is new but the staff has a wealth of knowledge to help you!

    4. ABA Career Center:
See if they have vacancies because they just might!

Good luck and keep in touch!
