Question by cubensis2k: How do I get in to a journeyman program?
I would like to get a job with the City of Los Angeles. Many jobs state that you need tobe at least a journeyman level to apply. How or where do you apply to be a journeyman? I always thought the journeyman program was when you got hired, and you did a year or so of entry level training.

It depends on the trade and how much experience you have. My state mostly does their licensing at the contractors licensing or licensing board. You may have to take a test and show that you have equivalent work experience, a journeyman is anywhere from 3-5 years in a trade. Thanks
