  1. bret4021 says:

its transSexuals not transexuals. but anyway no one wants to hire them because they frequently administer hormones, which can make one irritable untill they get balenced out, they can be mistaken for junkies, as the most popular method of hormone administation is via hypodermic needle, radical feminist (a.k.a. men) are the worst about abusing lgbt people because they are insecure about themselves and hate everyone. unfortunatly one of the most descrimnated against groups in the world is th lgbt community second only to the jews of course.

Ever hear the sotry of Brandon Teena (Legally Teena Brandon. A Trans male)? Well ever see the movie based off the incident?

Just a little sliver. When that part of the mom came up and started treating Brandon horribly… it brought up very strong, bad memories I faced. And you think they won’t deny you jobs, or avoid doing what they’re supposed to to protect you by law? Oh they will.

  3. Clones Don't Have 100k Pts says:

Take the amount of discrimination faced by gay people and raise it by the power of 3 (or more).

Every year a couple dozen transsexual people are murdered in the USA simply because of who they are. It doesn’t sound like much, but considering how few of us there are, the number is sky high. And of the hundreds of transsexual women who’ve been murdered in the last 50 years would you believe nobody was ever convicted of murder until 2009. Why? Because police departments and the justice system have routinely swept crimes against us under the rug. And sometimes the police are the perpetrators. Take a look:

Later, the day before she was to leave Memphis to live with her Mom in Chicago, she was murdered. And the killer was never found. Payback by the police?

Transsexual people are routinely fired when they come out on the job.

We are often denied housing and healthcare.

Most insurance companies refuse to cover our medical transitional care even though it’s deemed by medical professionals as medically necessary.

    Churches often excommunicate transsexual people.

Most states do not allow us to change our legal identities in a timely fashion. And some states do not allow changes to birth certificates ever… even after surgery.

We are often targets of verbal abuse from complete strangers. Just look at the responses to trans questions in this section and you will find lots of derogatory remarks.

Got more violent video for you:

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1379691/Transgender-girl-beaten-seizure-McDonalds-attack-victim-hate-crime.html

This transgender woman was beaten senseless by a couple other women simply for using the bathroom. Notice that nobody, except one elderly lady, even tries to help her. McDonald’s employees just sat and watched. In fact one employee shot the video and put it online because he thought it was funny!

Many families reject their trans kids and they end up on the street. Even though I transitioned several years ago, most of my family continues to shun me even today.

And even when trans people overcome those obstacles and find happiness it can all fall apart. I know of several cases where transsexual women were married and after their husbands died the families sued and had the marriages declared invalid; robbing the women her benefits as a widow.

So add all that up (and more) and I hope you can see that trans people are the most oppressed people in America today.

transsexuals are frequently fired from their job when they transition, and have a hard time being hired
many people don’t understand transsexuals very well, there are lots of myths and stereotypes about us, and unfortunately, too many people believe them

there is also discrimination in housing, mistreatment by authorities, often given inadequate health care by hospitals and EMTs, and suffer from violence from the general population

-Honestly, from reading all the news surrounding that story, it was motivated more by racism than the fact the girl was trans. The first story I saw didn’t even mention that she was trans, just that a white girl was beaten up by two black girls and nobody did anything.

Even in our own community we face hatred. Look at the loathsome things John Wether says in response to this question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Atoq2T8cGDQ6xHabe0GWV3bty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20120213191626AA6jjDq
