Congress destroyed the US? auto industry back in the 70s with Over-Regulation at the Same time the Arab oil embargo hit.

  3. TruthOldSchoolStyle says:

If the Big Three used a “Commonality of Parts” they Could? compete.

  6. Viktor Sibold says:

An easy solution? :Bulid small midsize large and extralarge cars, and build it in Detroit and not in China. and then also drive it and not japanese chunk

  7. Robin Oxe says:

  8. godscuttingyoudown says:

Obama did shit for Detroit all the bail out money sent to the rich white people went straight to offshore accounts, and then propaganda like this is created? to tell people OH well plant some tomatoes and corn crops

  9. ivankutas1 says:

You are joking right, american cars? are worst shit on planet.

  10. trainfreak7745 says:

  12. Natashaofwindsor says:

ATTENTION ALL AMERICAN MADE CARS: IN A CAR ON A STEERING WHEEL WHERE THE HONK IS MUST BE GPS. IN 2014 ALL CARS? GM, FORD CHRYSLER,AMERICAN MADE CARS MUST COME WITH GPS INSTALLED INTO STEERING WHEEL WHERE THE HONK IS.DONT GO WITH ME INTO DETAILS I AM NOT A DUDE! I BET CHINESE ALREADY COPY MY IDEA AS I AM TYPING NOW., FUNNY! WHEN I GO TO GROCERY STORES I WANT 2 BUY? CHERRIES FROM MICHIGAN 4 REASONABLE PRICE. SO ASK THOSE UNEMPLOYED WHO COLLECT WELFARE THAT I WANT CHERRIES AND CHERRY WOOD FURNITURE

  13. John Paul says:

oh? all of the other automotive industries are just made because Ford is not giving away its secrete but here is a hint don’t take handouts from the Government

  14. FIVEOFEVER says:

You got that right….The auto companies have been making record profits for? the past 9 financial quarters. ord, GM and Chrysler are pouring a bunchof money into their facilities tooling up for new models. Michigan finally has a balanced budget with a modest surplus in the rainy day fund.

  15. Meastriser says:

American cars are and have always been good quality and engineered for long distance driving on the huge continent. People who refused to change their oil or sparkplugs are the total idiots that started to buy foreign cars that were underpowered and would run for longer without getting maintenance. Import cars are the horse you can neglect and it will still kind of fart along. My 1992 Buick gets 35 MPG and? easily passes all the imported tin cans. Built for superhighway, not globalist cramp city

  16. Craig Artzner says:

So? the general message of this video is “subsistence farming will save Detroit”?

  17. SOCOM9able says:

And GM is not? turning its back on america eather it has invested billions in plants and plans to open a new one in Kentucky. Creating 5,000 more jobs

  18. SOCOM9able says:

    Realize? that.

  19. SOCOM9able says:

GM? is moving some production to china because those vehicles will be for the asian market. I hate how ppl dont understand that, our companies need to be competitive too. And this guy is false about the japanese having more fuel efficient cars. Especially during the 70’s gas crisis, we had more fuel efficient cars than they did at the time, and even today we do too. And yes our industry is leading the world again, producing high quality, reliable and stylish products. And people are starting to

  20. SOCOM9able says:

But today our industry as a whole is leading the world? again!

  21. antisolcial says:

Ford was the only one who? hasn’t fallen apart

  22. Danielle Elliott says:

Ah yes motor city…building? of lights growing from a dump.

  23. Scootertuner1000 says:

I didn’t? say they did. I simply said that both Buick and Chevy have been part of GM for a long long? time, between 80 and almost 100 years. The? way you spoke about GM, Chevy and Buick at first, sounded like you didn’t know that. That’s all I’m saying.
“Some manufacturers like Chevrolet have seen the light, and today I saw my first Buick on British roads, but GM is still living in the past.”
The way the sentence is written sounds like GM, Chevy and Buick are different companies.
