Question by : Are there any nursing homes in Seattle, WA that offer free CNA training? Or any other place?
I would like to do CNA training and it’s not offered until fall quarter at most community colleges. I’m trying to find a nursing home/etc that might offer on the job training so that I could do this earlier, and for free.

I’m not sure if some nursing homes still offer free training for CNA in exchange for signing a contract (always read the fine print before signing ANY document, anyway) that one will work for the facility for a certain amount of time. Although that sounds ideal, if you don’t feel comfortable working at that particular facility, then you may be stuck there according to the stipulations of the contract.
Perhaps your local “red cross” offers training. For general information about classes (though please contact your local “red cross”: http://www.redcross.org and can look under “preparing and getting trained” and then click “take a class” and then scroll down to “caregiving and babysitting” and then can click “nurse assistant training” or such.
For general career info: http://www.bls.gov/oco and can search “nursing and psychiatric aides” or such.
