I have been a CNA (or RCT resident care technician at the nursing home) and in my? state it is only required to take 75 hours of the class and then take a writing and skills exam. and the reason why CNA’s make less money is because of corporate and state, which regulates all of the OSHA and HIPPA compliants….They make all the rules and regulations and get paid the big bucks.
