Hi, this video was great. I loved the questions, however I have a few more
to ask you. Good to hear that your enjoying the program 🙂 Firstly, I know
that like any other schooling, the studying along with the
externships/shadowing can come with long tedious hours. As a mom of 2, with
a part time job, I was wondering would my schedule have any time for part
time work or even any quality time with my kids? I also wanted to know is
the work very challenging? I have completed two years so far of a four
year BA degree but since haven’t gotten the opportunity to finish, and that
was 5 years ago. In the past, I have always been a great student
academically, it’s just that Im worried that I will get side-tracked or
overwhelmed with my studies and home life and also with not having been in
school in quite a few years. Im guessing that you don’t have children yet,
so im only asking “in your opinion” or if you know or could ask a fellow
student who has small kids if they have any insight on life as a sono
student/tech with children. Thanks so much, and thanks again for this
    video :)?

    omg the music! gosh?

  12. tomas pelliccione says:

do you have to have prior college background or can you join a program or
    something right after high school??

  13. HolograMv2 says:

Can you make a video on how to get accepted into a Sonography program?

  14. 4evergoofy says:

Thank you for making this video. It is very few almost close to none videos
on here where rad tech or sonography students are talking about their
experience in school. What do you think about the job market? Are you
scared that you Won’t find a job in the field? That’s my worst fear 🙁

  15. SonoVlogFrenzie says:

It honestly depends on where you live. There are more opportunities in
metropolitan areas as opposed to rural areas. I am confident that there
are/will be jobs in this field. The projected growth is quite impressive.
It also depends on if you are willing to relocate. I’m the type of person
that likes to travel and live in new places so if it doesn’t work out for
me where I live, well, let’s just say my bags are already packed 😉 Don’t
be afraid. If you become ARDMS certified, you’ll be fine 🙂

  16. SonoVlogFrenzie says:

Sure! I’d be happy to do a video on that if/when I get in 🙂

  17. SonoVlogFrenzie says:

Well the program is very intense considering it’s only a year and a half
and it’s super accelerated because of that time frame. Sonography is
basically science and technology combined and if you have an interest in
either of those areas, I’m sure you would find it mentally challenging in a
good way. A lot of students find looking at the images very difficult
rather than the studying part. It’s one of those things where you either
know what you are looking at or you don’t…which can be tricky.

  18. Nini tiki says:

Thank you so much for making this video. I am still in high school and I am
considering becoming a sonographer. This video was very helpful and
    informative! Thanks again! 🙂

  19. TheTee478 says:

very cool video. i just had an interview at a sonography school. they
emailed me for a second interview which is now more nerve racking because
its higher ranking people. im so nervous. did you get in? any updates?

  20. SonoVlogFrenzie says:

Congrats on your interview! It truly is nerve wrecking! I was supposed to
know by Feb 1st but results were delayed to next week because they decided
to interview more people! The wait is really killing me! Fingers crossed we
    both got in!

  21. SonoVlogFrenzie says:

Awe, you are most welcome 🙂 If you have any questions or requests for
videos, feel free to send them my way. I’m currently working on some more
videos so it’s always great to hear from you guys. If I get enough
questions, I might do a Q&A video! xx
